The best way to travel to the outer space (stars and galaxies) is to create a lot of tiny spacecrafts than can hold a crew of one or two and then send them around Jupiter. The spacecrafts would be electrically charged, and due to the Lorentz force, they begin to orbit the Jupiter. As they orbit Jupiter, they will gain speed and eventually approach the speed of light. After reaching a sufficient speed, the spacecraft could turn off its electrical charge (thus removing the Lorentz force). This cause the the space craft to break away into the void, much like a man spinning a ball attached by a cable and releasing it after a while).


But you might think that even though we could reach the speed of light (actually, approach the speed of light), the speed just ain’t enough to take us to the galaxies or even the stars. But wait… when any object approaches the speed of light, a property called time dilation. This actually slows down the passage of time for a moving object (relative to a rest frame, eg:- Earth). As the speed increases the, effect on the time also increases. This allows the astronauts in a spacecraft to travel to long distances in less than a single lifetime. This property follows an equation:

Here, Δt’ is the time passed on Earth between two events in another frame. Δt is the time passed on the frame where the two events happened.

So for example, we are trying to travel to the nearest star Proxima Centauri. We can send them in tiny spacecrafts and orbit them around Jupiter’s magnetic field to gain speed. And when we near the speed of light, w can aim the spacecraft and shoot itself towards Proxima Centauri. And here are some scenarios.
